Once an applicant’s legal matter has been assessed in our intake process, the advising attorney may recommend a clinic appointment. Clinics are a group setting where eligible clients are instructed on or assisted with paperwork and given legal advice about their individual legal matter. Appointments to clinics are best suited for less complex legal matters. In some limited circumstances, cases are chosen from clinics for representation.
The Orange County Unlawful Detainer Clinic is open to eligible Orange County residents who are facing or potentially facing eviction. The clinic will show a video and offer a presentation regarding the eviction process. Attendees will also have the opportunity to discuss their legal matter with a LASOC representative and receive legal advice and possible assistance in filling out their answer to the Unlawful Detainer paperwork. This clinic is located in the Santa Ana office.
For assistance with completing an Answer to an Unlawful Detainer, eligible clients may attend a UD Clinic held on Mondays at 9:00 a.m. at the Santa Ana office. In order to be scheduled for this clinic, you must first call the Hotline to be screened for eligibility. Click here for address and directions.
