Judge William Monroe, Ret., will share his insights from 45 years after law school, as to how the profession can drain you, and what you should do to maintain your health, a loving family, and be a responsible community citizen.

Judge Monroe received his undergraduate degree from Iona College in 1956 and his J.D.from Loyola University Law School in 1965. After Marine Corps service (1957-1987), he served as an attorney for the Orange County public defender’s office from 1969 to 1971, and was appointed to the Orange County Superior Court in April 1996 by Governor Pete Wilson. He has been a member of the Orange County Bar Assn., the Orange County Catholic Lawyers Assn., the California Attorneys for Criminal Justice and the California Public Defenders Assn.
(“Let’s Talk” is a series of classes sponsored by the Legal Aid Society of Orange County and led by Commissioner Vogl. This series covers a variety of court issues and is for MCLE credit for lawyers, paralegals, and office staff.)
