I-CAN! Demonstration Web Site

You can view I-CAN! modules (English, Spanish & Vietnamese) via the Web on a "demonstration" site. Before you click on the link to the I-CAN! demonstration web site, there are a few caveats you need to know about.

1. I-CAN! uses web and database technologies. It was developed to operate on 19" and 21" regular or touch screen monitors and on computers running a Windows operating system and the Internet Explorer browser - version 5.0 or higher.

Because you may be using a smaller monitor or different operating system or different browser or a different version of the Internet Explorer browser, the screens may not appear correctly, meaning text may appear unaligned or overlapping with graphics, and you may have horizontal scrolling etc.

2. In order to view the videos (i.e. Court Tour and the "video guide"), you need to have a DSL, cable modem or T1-type connection to the Internet. You may be able to view the "video guide" with a 56K modem, but not the court tours.

3. If you want to be able to print completed legal forms, you will need to install the attached plug-in. Simply click on it and it should self install. [If your browser wants to save the file to disk, let it and then double-click the saved file to install it.] This plug-in does not work for Windows 2000 nor for Apple computers.

4. The legal forms produced by I-CAN! are specific to Orange County, California.

5. Remember that the versions we deploy in libraries, shelters, courts, community service organizations and legal services organizations, do not have any browser-related images or text - we hide that from the user to make it easier to understand and for security reasons.
